The Great Food-Tuk adventure: IndieGoGo campaign video

Posted on November 28, 2019 by Demond Reichert

What is the best vehicle for a story? Is it a plate of food? Is it a piece of music? Or is it a book? We think it’s a tuk tuk. This is Cameron He is a filmmaker And he might be an astronaut. This is Guglielmo. He is a cook. And he’s unpredictable. 8 months ago we set off on this adventure From Milan With a simple idea: Trading food for stories. Big dog too. Bigger than the scooter. And behind was… We think that food… … and storytelling … … are the two most ancient forms of communication. And we wanted to see what would happen if we put them together. Since then we’ve crossed half the world Crafted dozens of original recipes And gathered stories for each one Stories that have inspired us to make this film… The story of our journey back to Italy We want to keep going… To find the best ingredients The best recipes And discover the history behind them And we want to share this with you A taste of places you never could have imagined. But to get there we will need a vehicle. A tuk tuk with a kitchen. To go anywhere. Cook anywhere. Shoot anywhere. And move at the local pace of life. To discover what the world is leaving behind. But in reality, we’re just two guys. Moving through a big world. And we have to wonder: Can we do this? Sorry, just to tell you… You are so professional, you impress me. You are really organized, and you know… You make a good team guys. I was sure, when we met… Those guys are ready for any adventure. Yeah, this is why you are here. You know? I like people like you. I want travelers on board. I thought you guys were just like traveling vagabonds… I didn’t know that… like you’re stuff is really cool. I see you – You cook for me. It’s great! For our present, it’s imporant… That you are come here 🙂 “Make sure they call me for dinner.” Actually we are very unprepared in everything we just smile alot. So it’s not a matter of if we can do this. But how, we’re going to do this. Enjoy the ride.
