Foods That Are Super Healthy
Just eat more seasonal veggies and fruits. Do some research on their natural sugar levels, fiber levels, protein, carbs etc and plan meals accordingly. Drink less alcohol and soda, drink more water, eat less red meat and creamy/buttery/salty things, don't smoke, have a light 30 minute walk every day or exercise. Done. Now you don't need weird juices and elixers.
Honestly just put James in anything. But also pass it on and chef battles!
Are you a NUT snacker? me really trying not to laugh at 11pm
You should do Barry Lewis’ new cottage cheese challenge — see his fondoodler video 🤞🏻🤞🏻
The bone broth is actually really great for the gut. So like it's worth it if u have deteriorating gut health which me and my mom suffer from (leaky gut is the worst my dudes). Anyways my mom drinks it and it really helps her. We buy the powder stuff and make our own though
Charcoal is a hard no from me. It can seriously mess with medications.
Was somebody doing their washing while James was being filmed?
eating charcoal can interfere with medications!!!! be careful with it!
It feels like a strong allergens-free food movement could finish us off. As a race we've spent so much time exploiting every plant and niche we can and now we're actively restricting what we eat based on a minuscule proportion of the populace. The more we restrict what we eat, the more vulnerable we are to sudden plant epidemics. The status quo will be re-established when the last of the allergenics are turned into a soup and we can get on with eating anything and everything we want.
Where’s the cute little beardy one?
As someone who actually has non-celiac-gluten intolerance and many other allergies like corn, and cow dairy, lentil and vegi pasta is a godsend.
Slice of fig sausage with goat cheese on a cracker and perhaps a drizzle of honey sounds good.
Charcoal is funky but really should only be ingested of you aren’t on any medication, have been poisoned, or have diarrhea…
Were you in the USA and go to Whole Foods?
" we are a group of lads from London " gives prices in American Dollars.
Oops should have watched to the end before saying USA.
That "pasta" is NOT low carb!!
pass it on please……
If u take any medication at all and you like your gut bacteria, DON'T EAT CHARCOAL!!
since when did you all start using "dollars?"
anything claiming to "detox" is literally a scam unless its dialysis or a kidney/liver transplant. You literally cannot "detox" by sticking stuff on your body or by eating/drinking something special.
Charcoal is so incredibly bad for those who take daily medicines. It doesn't care about what is in your system, it WILL clean it out. Massively Offend,
My mother (born in 1911] would have been surprised to know that what the poverty stricken children of Yuppies are calling “bone broth”. Being born in 1947, I just throw up my hands and roll my eyes 🙄. Turkey, chicken and ham bones always get boiled down. Beef bones get placed in a friend’s pet ant hill for cleaning and slicing into pieces for combs, and inlay bits for marquetry or other projects.
I hate the activated charcoal trend, I think it's dangerous. "It binds with toxins." Yeah, it also binds with birth control and heart medication and antidepressants.
Do a pass it on: idea: savoury turned sweet or sweet turned savoury
More pass it on ! Thats the best one and loooong time since you did one
I was at a trendy pizzeria/Italian place in my hometown and they had "black lemonade" it tasted like more sour coke. It was really weird and suuuper expensive for what it was
Heyyy i miss the ultimate battle between the normals
Mike: “I dunno this bone broth is overrated if u ask me sis” Also Mike: drinks every last drop
You guys ever coming down under?
I loved the pasta but not the price. Maybe I can make some at home.
It would be really interesting to see what each of you eats in a day. You should do a series where everyone takes turn filming a “what I ate today” type of video showing their meals/snacks as the day goes on. I’m always interested to see what other people eat in a typical day.
Make Sichuan food. Spicy chicken (laziji) and double cooked pork!
Please, enough with the mushrooms!! As someone who's severely allergic to mushrooms, it's becoming increasingly difficult to avoid them… it doesn't have to go in everything!
How about a challenge: 2 chefs vs 2 normals, same ingredients table, chefs have 5 minutes to talk and 20 minutes to cook, normals have 10 minutes to talk and 40 minutes to cook.
You should try Speculoos Cookie Butter for your next food trend! (You can find it on Amazon!)
why the hell do people keep putting activated charcoal in stuff to make it trendy, like that just stops so many people from being able to eat it, calm down!
When you have excess of food , then people find high calories as unhealthy, kids have allergies, etc, etc…ask if ppl have so many allergies in Africa or in hungry countries…
calories are energy for the body, stop this nonsense about food, plz.
You know you live in a high-cost area when the prices are just… eh. Ok. Might-as-fucking-well. (coming to you from Marin Co., Calif.)
How much was the 'pasta'?
I find baru (nuts) here where I live quite easily. Not expensive. Its taste resambles peanut. If the one he ate was hard it's because it was over toasted.
How is bone broth a new trend? I’m 40 and been making bone broth for at least 15 years and eating it my whole life. Did millennials run out of nasty ideas so went old school on this one?
Maybe buzz up the Barukas in a food processor and see how they go in a baked good?
I'm glad there's these kinds of things out there because there are gullible people out there that will buy enough of this stuff that the creator of the product, if they invest well, will never have to work a day again. all because ''if you pay more for it, it's got to be the best''.
Can you do more keto friendly recipes? Maybe even the least amount of carbs possible?
Chaga mushrooms have been used to make tea in Maine for ages. It is usually drunk to give your immune system a boost, especially when you feel a cold coming on. That being said, it isn't something in every family's pantry cabinet, rather it is something that your quirky half-off-the-grid granola neighbor who might be a witch will whip out when they notice your cough.
That pasta is not only good for those with celiac, bit it's also good for diabetics, because diabetics shouldn't have too many carbohydrates. I hope I can find a way to get my hands on that pasta because it sounds really good.
I looooved that video where they had to guess the mystery ingredients in the doughnuts and ice cream. Sooo different!
Could we get a gadgets video for storage items in a freakishly small kitchen? Or multi gadgets in one thingamabob for those of us who have tiny arse kitchens and dont have the space for a gazillion gadgets? (As dreamy as that sounds) lol
As an EMT I have to implore you; for the love of god do not consume activated charcoal. In emergency medicine, it's used to leech toxins out of your system. However, it could also leech things like vital prescription medicine out of your system. So, don't do it.
The mushroom craze is AWFUL (I have a severe mushroom allergy) and people are putting mushrooms in EVERYTHING now as a colorant, flavorant, and MSG replacement. But they don’t SAY it’s full of mushrooms
I miss ultimate battles with a curveball! The curveball could be trivia questions about the battle theme. If you get the question correct, you add cooking time. If you get the answer incorrect, you loose some of your cooking time.
But the activated charcoal remove the nutrition in the drink and also will mess up your medications, since the charcoal will absorb that too,.
More weird food combinations please!
Locally Raised and Butchered Meats! Have all of you go to a farm and see the whole process. From being raised, to the slaughter, and then the butchery of the carcass! Pork/Beef/Whatever you can find that's local and ethical.
Really hope you do this one guys!
I think i liked it better when at least one of them gets offended, now it just seems so Nice
Mushrooms help you chill out
Very excited to try the berukas nuts. I’m trying to live more sustainably once I transition into my new job and I am 100% a crunchy snacker—whether healthyish or absolute garbage food I just love the texture.
With all the concerns about the environment, would you consider doing a sustainability-focused video?
"alkaline water"Me: …Me: …Me: SCAMMAGE
I could do with that pasta.
People on medication! Beware of activated charcoal in trendy food and drinks as it binds with your medication and keeps it from being absorbed by your body!
I was waiting for the dad joke. It delivered.
Gotta love a good Mike video
Activated charcoal has no health benefits at all unless you are actually suffering an acute poisoning. It can have a terrible effect on you if you are taking any medications because it will cause the medicine to pass out of your system without doing their job. Also, it can irritate your stomach, up to causing vomiting. Please don't fall for this trend!
It is amazing to me how much people will pay for something with "activated charcoal" in it!
You're all English yet quote in dollars?
can we talk about james….. boys been working out…. he used to be such a beanpole james what the Fuck
Pass it on!!!
5 times less carbs isn't a thing, 80% less?
Come to Orlando, Florida and get a cookie at Gideons!! Omg, drool worthy!!
Did anyone else hear the low tone that slowly drives you mad? Or is it just me?
I love Mike's reactions! 😂
Based in London. Uses Dollars. Seems legit.
The charcoal trend is damn dangerous and needs to die. If you're on a medication, eating charcoal will render those medications pointless. Unless you've been told to eat charcoal by a doctor (usually in the ER), DON'T EAT IT!
The only good one was the pasta. The rest were awful…
The lemonade is not good if you are taking medication. The activated charcoal will stop it absorbing properly
Can we get a colab with English Heritage and do an historical food tends?
For pretentious foods whiskey Tide pods, https://youtu.be/fQHC9FrDUuI
The background looks like some stock footage bluescreen background. It's so sterile.
Holy shit do not eat foods with activated charcoal in it, especially if you’re on medication. Charcoal will “detox” EVERYTHING, including your important medication and all the good shit in your body
At 6:39 when it said 'low carb high protein' the video was interrupted by an ad for Dominoes pizza lol 😆
You should try This isn't bacon and this isn't chicken! The bacon is amazing! And no fat and full of protein!
I’m not convinced that these are actually trending
The only good reason to take activated charcoal is to counter something you shouldn't have.
Crazy how much stuff I see that we have in my house…mushroom snacks, bone broth, super food this-and-that…I love the bone broth tho!
Suggestion: In the future, could you always try and list prices of comparable products?
Sea weed is a really big trend in skandinavian countrys right now boys. I recommend Seamanchips. A chip made out of a 50/50 mix of bladderwrak and potato. The creator is an awsome person btv
Please bring the back the pancake song
Healthiest nut in the world, wink wink 😉
Ben : * a whole long healthy food name*Mike : that was just a list of words that mean nothing to me.
LOL just mike being a non-healthy food fan hahahha
Fig salami? I dont eat meat but that looks gross
Almost 2.3 million subs yey
Dont people know activated charcoal absorbs everything and not just toxins? Medicine and other beneficial things. Its like a giant sponge cause of the massive surface area. This shit has got to stop. Its actually bad for you. Imagine taking medication that keeps you alive and then drinking that crap. The meds wont work 🤷♂️
here for james' biceps
Oh shit Baru nuts, they're kinda common in Brazil
Someone make a gif of Mike going "yawn~" !! 😁
Interesting… Mike being sassier than James 😄
What's the music at the end called
