On the lush Oregon coast, where cheese
was able to make a comeback in Bandon and Face Rock Creamery was able to
restart a century-old tradition of milk, cultures, and salt, capital was needed. [Daniel Graham, Face Rock Creamery] So when the news came that the cheese factory could come back, and everybody started hearing that, I mean the buzz around town was huge. I was like really? You know, we honestly when we first opened we had people coming in crying. I mean, I would be probably even under-estimating that we had 2,000 people come through the doors that were teary-eyed when, for the first few weeks when we were opening and just that it was back. [Greg Drobot, Face Rock Creamery] Well, Craft3, in particular Brad Hunter, just was really passionate about Face Rock and he understood what used to be here, and what could be here with a little more-modern marketing
and branding and management. [Narrator] No different, really, than in the high-desert of Central Oregon, as a Straw Propeller Gourmet Foods got its start and manufactures a product with natural oats, cherry and chia. Not all financial institutions have the flexibility to lend to a food business, but we’re one that does. It’s a partnership that started more than 20 years ago for Goose
Point Oysters and Craft3 [Dave Nisbet, Goose Point Oysters] I think the relationship I’ve had with Craft3 dates back into the 80s, when, to their credit, they wanted to
understand my business, and I think they understood the passion I had for it, but they also understood the community. And I think that single message from a lender is probably the most important message that can go out. [Narrator] It has required risk-taking, but for us taking that risk and working with you to get the capital you need is something we’re good at. It’s why we started working with Goose Point so many years ago, and it’s how we’re strengthening sustainable local food systems where we’ve invested more than thirty million dollars. [Kathleen Nisbet Moncy, Goose Point Oysters] I would say one of the biggest things in working with Craft3 is that they get to know you. You’re on a first-name basis with your lender. They understand your business,
they understand your cycles. Craft3. Delivering innovative, non-traditional financing. Helping you reach new customers. And looking at your business beyond just the numbers, because it’s the right thing to do. It’s the power of working with us. So join our cause, and access the capital you need.
