Foods That Are Super Healthy
The health code thing is true… Where I work I'm not even allowed to bring someones water bottle behind the counter to fill up. I worked at Starbucks before too and we are allowed to use peoples cup, but we have to ask them to remove the lid first
I always bring my own cup to fast food places and could always use it. But i havent tried it at places where they fill up the bottle
They need to go zero waste In allll fast food restaurants
no one else gonna notice dani pointing the middle finger in the insta story?
arm pit hair makes me itch
5:43 you can see her armpit hair
I can see your side rolls from africa
At chipotle #2 you can see the workers face in the reflection of the counter on the right
Who else was grossed abt her armpit hair🤮🤮😂
Boo fast food sucks. Let us use our own containers
In and out would do it
What does zero waste means, and what are they trying to do
Bruh the white girl got a whole ass head of hair in her arm pit
its ridiculous how inconvenient it is to be eco friendly
I use to work at McDonald’s and I would ya eat own container to make a salad. I get how it would be a health code issue and how it cannot be, but the worst part about it is that many restaurants like McDonald’s have a routine and a set of “rules” they have to go by and using a container to make and package the burger is a hassle. It sucks because using reusable containers is a good idea and doesn’t cost extra money for anyone.
I know she didn’t say healthy food
OMG I love her.
Did everyone just ignore the drivers hairy arm pits at 5.42??? SMH LOLLLLL
And at the end …. the arabs always deliver lol thank you. Tabbouleh, hummus, chicken and pickled pink turnips! Yep! Deeeeeeelicious !
Am I just new to that girl but she has major armpit hair?
I do it at my local butchers and at my local fruit shop
Omg… her armpits are hairy ewwwwwwww
The food that you finally ate in your own reusable containers is actually lebanese food 🤣

Can't you compost most paper wrappings the food comes in? That's what I do…
Girl shave your armpits
My mom had me when she was 20 she and my dad married at 18 though so yeah
Going vegan would be a lot more beneficial for the planet (and easier) than going zero waste.
Aria’s voice omggg
Joyce is a pure light and I need more of her all the time
The federal government lays out a guideline of health codes for state governments to use, and the states only really add to that list. You can’t use anything in an American kitchen that isn’t NSF certified, even the mixers and tables are certified in a kitchen. Your plastic containers, like all plastics, are porous and can leech chemicals, and that’s why they only use specific hard plastics and certain soft plastics that are less likely to cause this leeching. This is incredibly important because many chemicals encounter the surfaces in a standard kitchen in an effort to kill potential contaminants and germs. Certain companies like Cambro are well trusted commercially and are used often in real kitchens, you definitely won’t find any Rubbermaid in any restaurant scoring 100 points from the health department. Glass containers are usually also not allowed unless specifically tempered and only for certain very specific uses due to its ability to shatter and contaminate large amounts of food with nearly invisible shards, when certified, I only remember seeing specific candy thermometers that were allowed to be mostly glass. Lastly is metal, which is the worst one. Without the certification on it, you absolutely cannot expect to know if it will leech ions into the food that can be toxic, and furthermore, certain reactive and acidic foods like fruits absolutely cannot be stored for any period in metal of any kind outside of its original packaging. If you bring in your own plastic with its original certification marks and let them sanitize it so no contaminants from outside enter your or anyone else’s food, I can’t see why I wouldn’t let you put it in a to-go container. Buy some secondhand Cambros I guess?
Oh I did ladies!!! I almost got yelled at in the Carl’s Jr drive-through because I wanted them to put my drink into my stainless steel hydro flask. One server said it was fine and smiled at what I was trying to do ecologically and the other guy got mad and yelled at him for doing it and said “Next time don’t do that, just put it in a cup!” And then made a grumpy face and rolled his eyes at me like I personally offended him with my eco-efforts! It is not easy to do zero waste at a fast food spot. I applaud you ladies for trying. More education needs to be put in place for service personnel so it’s not such a scary thing for them and they get used to being ask. I watched a TedX talk where the woman was from Latvia I think and she said they all brought their own containers cause buying throw away food containers was for wealthy people!
Just get it normally and compost the packaging
Pause it at 5:43 and you could see she has a lot of armpit hair
If they did it in Texas but won’t where you are now it could be different laws in differ t states
Joyce is a mood
1:03 Who's gonna tell her mushroom burgers at McDonalds aren't vegetarian LOL
i work in fast food and i’m zero waste which seems so confusing but you know i make it work. while i work i bring my own container and make my own food and put it in there for myself but once someone else came in and asked and my manager said no once and yes the other …. hope it changes soon ..
Even if you could get fast food without plastic packaging, it all comes to the store in plastic packaging. After working in multiple fast food places and a smoothie place I know every single Ingredient is covered in plastic when it arrives. Besides maybe the napkins.
Corn can be made into compostable plastic take out containers, I don’t know why it’s not federal law for those to be what is used in restaurants. Recycling plastic is clearly a problem, as is creating waste. Also, it be great if these restaurants simply allowed you to bring your own container!
So a bit confused here. I’m also striving to be zero waste but I get my fast food in paper wrapping and inside a paper bag. Tried this at Carl’s Jr, chipotle, etc. these wrappers biodegrade i believe. Not so much the cups so i just carry a kanteen. Is there any plastic in these wrappers or bag? I thought part of zero waste was about reducing plastic in our lives?
Holy smokes that little white girl has some long arm pit hair nasty af
Shave your armpits

no one laughing at Aria's dub?
Zankou DOESNT PLAY! I’m middle eastern so I grew up with it. Now I’m vegetarian and still force my mom to take me for falafel and hummus 🤤I think I’ll bring my container next time I go so I don’t waste as much 🖤 plus I can take it home and pop it in the fridge if I wanna have a midnight snack 😈
No one:Absolutely no one:Tekashi: you did it one time chipotle. Last May. In Texas
Lol Chipotle did for me last May in TEXAS!Girl you're in Los Angeles, California!
Different state different rules.
This is my favorite buzzfeed series!! I'm always rewatching the videos, and I can't wait for the next one! 🙂
Are food deserts real? I thought big mama michelle was making that up.
In my own experience, I've been to Mcd once to ask if they can put in my container. They declined because they said not only what you said, cleanliness, actually it's for advertising purposes where we consumers take pics on social media as free ads.Even though Mcd's packaging can be recycled (they have recycle logo as well as it's written in the website, I searched a little), unfortunately we can't due to the oil from the fast food. 🙁
Her armpits are so gross
In India fast food are costlier than normal healthy meal.. Restaurant normal meals are cheaper than fast food unhealthy meals!!
she needs to shave her armpits
The sound girl looks depressed
lmfao zero waste, yet you're buing animal products, where animal agriculture pollutes the planet
can we have this series back? a season two or something?

Aria's dramatic readings were my favourite part of this video. The accents cracked me up. 😀
WAIT SHE IS HAITIAN OMG
I tried doing this at my McDonald's and they looked at me like I was crazy and told me they can't do that. 😅 on the other hand subway did accept my bee wrap and put my sandwich there. So maybe try subway?
Thank you for your zero-waste advocacy. Kudos, girls! 👍🏼
5:42 what is THAT?????
I see that BTS shirt in the thumbnail…
I’ve worked in fast food before and cross-contamination is a real thing and they would get on our asses if we used someone else’s container for anything. HOWEVER, I agree that we need to make sustainability convenient!
omg!! 5:44 look at her armpit
Eating meat is the worse thing for the environment! 😭
Perhaps if there was a specific type of cleaning station before you hand the container to the server it might work?
Of course us Texans did it for you, because its Texas.
I DiD iT aT aNoThEr cHiPoTLe, literally the worst kind of customer smdh
Joyce is Haitian!? I definitely stan
Wow it is pretty clear a these people or a lot of you haven’t worked in food service.
I used to be a shift manager at Carls jr, in my shift training it was literally stated that we cannot bring “outside” materials into the kitchen, not even the employees. It was stated as a health code violation
f in the chat for McDonalds
5:43 she needs to shave her armpits
Taco Time serves their food on plates and all the packaging they do use is made from recycled materials and/or compostable. Save the planet, eat more Taco Time 🤤
I worked in a camp kitchen and anything we used in the kitchen had to be either washed and sanitized by soap and heat or by soap and chemicals. I'm wondering if you ask them to wash your container in their dishwasher and then use it for your order if they'd let you. If it was me I'd totally let you lol.
Also, I'm super proud of everyone trying to be more environmentally conscious even if it's baby steps. Maybe a couple of months of meatless mondays and gradual zero waste seems hypocritical to some but I think it's better than nothing
U good to the planet and I respect that but damn gurl shave ur armpits
Sustainability + McDonalds?? Think again…
This video really annoyed me. Sustainability does need to be convenient but expecting a chain restaurant to use your own carry out container IS unsanitary. Auri also whining that chipotle did it for her once before and then disclosing it was in another state was so cringe and seemed entitled.
