Foods That Are Super Healthy
The US is clearly doomed.
yep, we have the best government that money can buy :'(
Freaking meat industry
Seriously, the U.S.A. is one fucked up country. The E.U. isn't far behind you but at least it's NOT legal to sell us poison !
Not only is america fucked up legal-wise, but seriously do people not wash their hands after cutting raw meat? That's seriously sick.
Sigh That is one of my biggest fears in sharing kitchens with people who prepare and eat chicken and other animal based foods..cross contamination. They are what drove me to use a lot of bleach in my cleaning regimen or at the very least alcohol based cleaners and hand sanitizers. Needless to say they were often some of the first ones in the household to get sick with a cold or the flu and then I'd sometimes get it afterwards.
I long to go back to the time of Bugs Bunny who ate yummy carrots and always evaded the blast from the shotgun and never hated Fuddy. The question remains, why do people need desperately to make money off other people in cost to their health and planet's health. that race ruined the environment and imprison wildlife, use their brain in the wrong way just to make easy profit. And we sit and watch without a word of protest.
Good stuff Dr.Greger! Very informative. I can't believe the meat industries only concern is that to sell their contaminated products DESPITE the fact that it's contaminated, killing millions of humans, tutoring animals, and raping the planet. People need to get real and wake up. This isn't a joke. This is real life.
Share, share, share…
Right on doc! Mandatory viewing for everyone on the planet.
Caveat emptor = beware the buyer! Thank you, Dr. Greger, 1 <3
Depopulation by eating !!!!! Great video & info. Thank you. XO
I haven't eaten poultry or any other farm animal for the last two decades, however, I don't live alone and unfortunately, those who live with me eat chicken quite often. So I opted for the Augustus strategy, i.e., I consume intact food (never chopped or sliced, although I don't pick my food from the orchard yet), I take care to cover my food and separate it from the others' food in the refrigerator, I don't let my food touch the others' cutlery, foods and cutting boards (which in fact I never use anyway), and I use my own cutlery and plates, easily recognisable. So far so good, I haven't suffered any serious food poisoning or intestinal infection for a long time.
1) Hee hee- did anyone catch the Morningstar Farms ad for Black Bean Burgers t the beginning of the video?2) I buy vegan protein stuff at Costco at great prices- quinoa, black bean burgers, tofu, soymilk- no need to line up at the butcher market.3) I ride a bike instead.
So glad i gave this up! I'm fitter and healthier since!
Stupendo video!,grande Greger!!!!!
So glad I went vegan… I now no longer eat hormone infested shit like this… And the more I think about the it I find it disgusting.. The whole idea now of eating flesh is repulsive… Even my smell has changed now and I find cooking flesh stinks.
I was in the produce section once and witnessed a woman who had a leaking package of chicken-parts in her buggy… She was handling the soaked article and touching the fruits at the same time. She even "changed her mind" on a few apples that were laying right next to the meat. She returned them to the bin with the rest of the fruit. I was so disgusted I just walked out without my purchase.
I think grocery stores ought to start segregating the "meat section" to be available exclusively separate from the rest… They could have it so meat selections would be the last item to buy and place a check out there to insure they wouldn't contaminate the rest of the store and the other shopper's food. OR… we could just remove it as food and call it the toxic material that it is. (?)
Don’t miss this week’s most popular video on how the industry won the right to sell consumers chicken contaminated with Salmonella. http://nutritionfacts.org/video/chicken-salmonella-thanks-to-meat-industry-lawsuit/
Absolute industrial craziness.
Hilarious with the resounding, "what?"
