What is the best way to get rid of food poisoning?
I need something certain and fast. Clear out the fridge and throw out everything
that is a multi-colored mold mess. If you get rid of the food that can give you food
poisoning, you won’t get sick. It’s a little late for that. Oh, so you’re already sick? That’s a little
harder to deal with. It is really hard to deal with. You need to make getting hydrated a priority. Will that make it pass sooner? No, but it will keep you from dying of dehydration.
Food poisoning used to kill people because they lost too many electrolytes and fluids. So I need to break out the sports drinks. You might want to be careful of sports drinks,
since their sweeteners sometimes make the diarrhea worse. And avoid milk, since it can
irritate your stomach. It can’t get much more irritated. What can
I do? Eat fresh yogurt with the good pro-biotics.
You’ll repopulate your digestive tract with good bacteria. Will that make this bout shorter? It’ll certainly keep it from lasting longer
while your digestive bacteria try to repopulate. And you can eat the yogurt while enjoying
bananas or Imodium to slow down the runs. I’ve never heard of bananas as a stomach stopper. It is supposed to be a natural sugar source
that is safe enough for babies with food poisoning. How does a baby get food poisoning? They eat anything they can put in their mouths.
And they put everything in their mouths. I thought I was a pickier eater than that. It isn’t your fault if you ate the healthy
salad someone else chopped on a board they’d already sliced raw meat on. It also isn’t
your fault if they undercooked the chicken in your fajita. My best solution for food poisoning may be
changing where I eat in the future.
