Now can see wall art.
We are arriving at Kakaako. First, Going to Down To Earth.
This is a supermarket specializing in organic products. Fresh fruits and vegetables are lined up
as soon as entering. Selling cereals and dried fruits by weight.
There are so many kinds. They also have a variety of cut fruits and salad. Highly healthy conscious deli corner.
No meats，vegan only. Seems to be good for the body,
want to try them at least once. These are all kombucha.
This is too many. The price varies a lot. All varieties of Hydro Flask.(Amaizing!) The eco-bags quality is nice.
It seems to be good for daily use. Take a rest here.
We bought Mamaki Tea here. It seems to be a tea of herb peculiar to Hawaii.
It was refreshing and delicious. We are recovering out strength.
so will go to see SALT. Stylish building. It is the second store of Pioneer Saloon.
Pork ginger here is our favorite. We are very much interested in
The Butcher & Bird burger on the second floor. Added to the list of what we want to eat next time. The reopened ARVO. It looks instagrammable.
The customers are also stylish. We came to Ward Center.
We are relieved that this place is the same as before. Our favorite Kaka’ako Kitchen.
No to go there this year. Famous Footwear is closed!!
We liked this shop… (TEARS) We are leaving Ward Center in a dejected… Kids are playing in the upper pool.
How rich are they?! WHOLE FOODS, Everyone like there. A popular deli corner.
We want to eat and compare with Down To Earth. A wide variety of hair and skin care products.
There are also many original brands. It seems that soap is too good to use,
We haven’t bought it yet… Peanut butter by weight.
We want to try it once, but we don’t have the courage. Found packed one next to it.
Maybe this is easily to try. We can’t help looking meat & fish corner
despite we would never ever buy them. The store is quite large. It’s good that you can eat
what you bought on the second floor. We also took a look at Patagonia.
The product lineup is almost the same as the Haleiwa store. And Nordstrom Rack.
We are tired, but We’ll take it seriously here. Come in!
Let’s start with men on the first floor. Many many shirts, and large selection. A wide variety of leather shoes, but sneakers may not be so good. The second floor is for ladies and kids. To get a bargain
You need to take your time. This time I bought a Hawaiian dress with a flower pattern.
It looks good to wear at the beach. If you have shoes that fit you,
We think you can get a pretty good deal. Then to T.J.Maxx. We wanted to take a look at it, too.
Legs are getting stiff, so only quick look. We were looking for art frame,
unfortunately we could not find good fit one. So this is the place We visited this time.
You can go to Ward Center by trolley from SALT. The early dinner is Asahi Grill. It is not the original store but the Keeaumoku store.
This is our favorite restaurant that We have been to many times. It’s right after you pass Like Like Drive Inn and turn right.
It’s next to a Korean restaurant. Of course We ordered oxtail soup.
We also ordered mini pork chops. Cheers!
Wow, we walked too much today too. The interior has a local flavor. We could relax.
There is a bar counter in the back. Yes!
This is it!! Chunky big oxtail. Pork chops came too.
Even a mini is this size. Good for Hawaii. Let’s eat.
It is mild taste. Add another plate of coriander. Add plenty of ginger in soy sauce.
Go ahead to dip the oxtail. The meat is so tender that it melts in your mouth. The meat is on the bone.
It’s simmered, so it’s easy to separate. The pork chops were a bit hard.
But the taste was nice with black pepper. Soup goes well with rice. Thank you for the meal!
This is definitely the place. We’re going back to Waikiki. We are full. We wanted to do the laundry at the hotel,
but found out that there was no laundry… We went to laundry on the Kuhio street. It became late when We were doing the laundry.
We are going to go to Manoa tomorrow. Good night.
